National/Chapter History

NATIONAL OFFICE:

Chi Phi Fraternity maintains a national headquarter located in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. The building is home to the Fraternity operations, Educational Trust, and the Archives of the organization. The office is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Eastern Standard time).

FRATERNITY LEADERSHIP:

The Grand Council is the administrative body of the Fraternity and has general care for the assets, as well as responsibilities for the general welfare of the organization. The Grand Council is led by the Grand Alpha (National President) who is elected by the Membership (undergraduates and alumni) every two years at Chi Phi Congress – the legislative meeting of the Fraternity. The Grand Alpha appoints all other members of the Grand Council. Each of these men serve in a volunteer capacity without compensation. The Grand Council supervises the activities of the National Office staff.
