Annual Haunted House
The Fall 2009 Haunted House took off late October with the theme of a “Haunted Carnival” and with the partnership of Alpha Delta Pi. There were clowns galore running around Chi Phi’s property as customers walked through our chilling layout. Drew Pleasants, one of the leading guides took customers through the basement floor, leading them through a maze of mirrors and strobe lights. Not knowing where to go, the visitors were jumped out at, screamed at, and horrified at the sites they saw. Finally, after making it through the house it was onwards to the woods. With the careful planning of a path around the back woods, stations were set up to frighten and panic. Customers were led through a trail of blood thirsty clowns and carnival games where they were the prize. They also walked through an old wooden structure where girls were hung from the rafters pleading for help. Finally at the end, of course there has to be a chainsaw, and so there was, a 6’8” monster running behind and out of the woods. There were 1,800 hours documented during this amazing event.
