The Psi Delta Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity has been in existence since December 12, 1970. Since we opened our doors in the early 70's to that first new member class, Chi Phi has been one of the leading chapters at UNC-Charlotte. Our founder, Dr. Darryl J. McCall was the inspiration of Greek Life coming to Charlotte. With his help from Boonie Cone, the founder of UNC Charlotte, they managed to start one of the most energetic organizations in the country. He is now honored with the loop around Greek Village named after himself. He was the vision of Greek Life, and always will be.
Charlotte's Chi Phi house has been in possession of the chapter since December 24, 1974. There have been countless stories told that occurred at this historical location. It is the pride and joy of Psi Delta, and we love our house as much as we love our brotherhood.
